The Challenge

Women’s Health Has Been Overlooked in the Workplace for Too Long.

Millions of women work in physically demanding roles that place significant pressure on their bodies.

Yet pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain, remain underdiagnosed, undertreated, and poorly integrated into occupational healthcare.

For affected women, these conditions can influence confidence, physical performance, quality of life, and participation in work. For employers, they represent an overlooked dimension of workforce health.

01

A Widespread Health Challenge

Pelvic floor disorders affect women across different ages, occupations, and stages of life.

02

Barriers to Accessing Care

Specialist rehabilitation can be difficult to access, particularly for women managing demanding work schedules.

03

An Opportunity for Employers

Employers have an opportunity to improve access to specialist care and better support women’s long-term health.

The Nyyra Approach

Specialist Care. Designed Around Working Women.

Nyyra is developing a virtual pelvic floor rehabilitation programme that makes specialist support more accessible to women in physically demanding occupations.

Our proposed model combines clinician-led care, guided rehabilitation, biofeedback technology, and structured progress monitoring.

Clinical Expertise

Specialist-led assessment and personalised rehabilitation plans.

02

03

How It Works

A More Connected Approach to Recovery.

Our proposed care journey, in five steps.

  1. Step 1

    Employer Partnership

An employer collaborates with Nyyra to explore access to pelvic floor rehabilitation for eligible employees.

  2. Step 2

    Clinical Assessment

Participants receive an initial assessment from a qualified clinician.

  3. Step 3

    Personalised Rehabilitation

A structured rehabilitation programme is developed around individual clinical needs.

  4. Step 4

    Guided Recovery

Participants receive virtual clinical support, guided exercises, and progress monitoring.

  5. Step 5

    Outcomes & Evaluation

Clinical progress is assessed, while employers receive appropriately aggregated programme-level insights.

Confidentiality by design. Individual medical information remains confidential between participants and their clinicians. Employers would never have access to individual diagnoses, treatment records, or other sensitive health information.
